Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Hookwing ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Service description
Hookwing provides webhook infrastructure including endpoint creation, event ingestion, delivery management, retry handling, and monitoring. The Service is provided via API, CLI, and web dashboard. Features and quotas vary by plan.
3. Accounts
You may create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your credentials secure. Notify us immediately at security@hookwing.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, generate abusive traffic, or remain inactive for an extended period.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the Service for any lawful purpose. You may not:
- Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or illegal content
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or access controls
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
Automated use (including AI agents and bots) is explicitly permitted and encouraged, provided it complies with the above restrictions and applicable quotas.
5. Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Free plan usage is subject to fair-use limits. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend free accounts that generate disproportionate load.
6. Data and privacy
We process event payload data solely to deliver the Service. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling, retention, and your rights.
Event payloads are retained according to your plan's retention window. You can delete events and endpoints at any time via the dashboard or API.
7. Intellectual property

8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced on status.hookwing.com. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hookwing is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
